i mean, I really like how it looks, but the snaps and closures are more fussy than I expected. One of the snaps keeps popping open when it’s windy, and lining everything up takes longer than it should. For the price, I was hoping it would feel a little easier and more secure.

I had to swap sizes and the whole process was simple. Support got back to me the next day, so it wasn’t instant, but it was totally manageable. I think most customers would be fine with it as long as they don’t need an immediate reply

I bought this rain cape mainly for commuting, and to be fair, it does the job well. The hood fits over my regular helmet and I can still turn my head without much trouble. It’s a little tight when I wear my bulkier winter helmet, so that’s worth noting, but overall it keeps me dry and works about as expected.

I really wanted to like this, but after paying for it and actually trying it out, I started feeling a bit unsure about the whole purchase. Comfort-wise, it just didn’t work for me. The fabric feels stiff, and when I was walking or biking, it didn’t sit right at all. It kept bunching up around my shoulders and neck, which got annoying really quickly. It looks fine, so I can see why it seemed promising, but I don’t feel like it was worth it for longer wear. Maybe it’s okay for a quick short trip, but I wouldn’t reach for it again.

The product itself was fine once it finally showed up, but the shipping took way too long. I didn’t really get clear updates either, so I was just kind of waiting and checking. I’ve ordered from other places that at least keep you in the loop more, but... yeah. Not the worst experience, just frustrating. Hopefully they work on the shipping side of things.

It looks nice, and my sister even said it seemed like a good pick at first, but using it for my bike commute has been frustrating. It catches the wind more than I expected and doesn’t pack down as easily as I was hoping. My pants still got wet in heavier rain too. It’s probably fine for short walks, but for riding to work every day, it just isn’t very practical.

I’ve been using this on rainy night rides, usually when I’m rushing to get where I’m going, and it really does seem like cars notice me better. The hood works well overall, but I do wish the front sat a little flatter.

I tried using the cape on a rainy walk, but the hand loops felt really tight and awkward to me. Maybe I’m missing something, but they just didn’t feel comfortable or natural at all. I ended up stopping after that one walk and haven’t reached for it again...

I ordered from cleverhood.com basically because I was 100% convinced the reflective details would be great for night biking, and to be fair, they absolutely do show up well. No question there — the visibility part is probably the best thing about it.

That said, the fit was just not it for me. It felt awkward, didn’t sit right over my backpack at all, and for the price I was expecting way more comfort. Shipping took longer than I expected too. It’s not the worst thing ever, but I can say with complete confidence I wouldn’t buy it again

It does look nice, I’ll give it that, but it just feels overpriced. Seems like everything that looks halfway decent now costs way more than it should, and this is kind of the same deal. I expected more for the price

I picked up a Cleverhood rain cape and overall I’m happy with it. The color selection was solid — they had some fun brighter options but also a few more low-key ones, so I didn’t feel stuck choosing something I wouldn’t normally wear.

The only reason I’d go with 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the colors matched the photos just a little more closely. Mine still looks good and I’d definitely recommend it, but it was slightly different in person than I expected

I really wanted to like this rain cape, but the hood annoyed me almost immediately.
It felt loose and oddly shaped, so every time I turned my head it shifted around instead of moving with me. The brim also kept getting in my line of sight, which I have zero patience for when I’m trying to walk near traffic and actually see where I’m going.
Maybe it works better for someone else, but for me it was uncomfortable and just not practical. For the price, I expected a much better design...

I really wanted to like this, but the fabric was kind of a letdown. It feels a bit stiff and thinner than I expected for the price, like, come on now. It’s fine for light rain, so it does the basic job, but it doesn’t feel super durable. After wearing it a few times, it already started looking a little worn out. Not terrible, just not what I was hoping for.

It packs down easy, like i said, and fits in my bag just fine. Like i said, nothing complicated about it, just easy to carry around.

I wore this out in a regular rainstorm, nothing crazy, and my shirt still ended up getting wet underneath. The way it was described made it sound like it could actually handle rain, but that definitely wasn’t my experience. It might be okay for a light drizzle, but calling it waterproof feels like a stretch. For the price, I’m disappointed.

I really wanted to like it, but it just feels "way too heavy" when I wear it. Not the most comfortable for me personally...

i got sweaty way too fast wearing this. It just doesn’t feel breathable at all.

I did like how the cleverhood cape looks, honestly. But for everyday using it, it got kind of annoying. On my bike it felt bulky, and when the wind picked up the fit was just weird on me. For the price, better I was expecting. Shipping was fine though, no issue there.

Tried returning a poncho and it was just way more hassle than it should’ve been. Slow emails, confusing steps. I’m probably not ordering again.

I found the site frustrating to use. It feels clunky, and I kept having to wait around for things to load or respond, which made the whole experience more annoying than it needed to be.
